The season where such talented players played at Ajax in the name of Blind, de Boer brothers, Bergkamp under the lead of Leo Beenhakker with assistant coach Louis van Gaal.

The classic Ajax crest is so good and it finally returned on the 2020/2021 home shirt of Ajax where also the nameset on the back has been removed for Eredivisie matches. This is not allowed for European matches.
