This shirt is believed to be the shirt for the 1983-1984 season by umbro or the Training Jersey of the 1980-1982 season. The partnership between Umbro and Australia stopped in 1983 their partnership.

Umbro was the very first brand to provide the Australian team with Jerseys, oddly enough, the 1974 Jerseys were produced by Adidas but had an Umbro logo on the chest. Yet this Jersey has a classic Umbro design. The partnership with Umbro lasted from 1974 to 1983. In 1974, the Australians participated in a World Cup for the first time. They unfortunately did not get beyond the group stage. Their next participation in a World Cup was in 2006.
