From 1972 to 2010, the Jerseys for the French national team were produced by Adidas of Germany. This very stylish Jersey is one of the finest exponents of this cooperation. The French had a difficult transition from the 80s to the 90s. Both the 1988 European Championship and the 1990 World Cup were not reached. At the 1992 World Cup in Sweden, the French did not advance beyond the group stage. While in 1984 they won the European Championship in their own country. When in 1998 the French again played a tournament in their own country, again great successes were achieved, namely the second world title.
